Practical Training 实习
If you are an F student, you have the option of working in the United States byengaging in practical training during your program or after it ends. Practicaltraining can provide valuable work experience by sharpening and adding to theskills you are learning in school. There are two types of practical trainingavailable for F-1 students: curricular practical training (CPT) and optionalpractical training (OPT). 如你是F签证的学生,你可在上学期间或者毕业后在美国工作,通过课程实习工作的磨练能给你带来有益的工作经验和技能.F签证学生有2种可选课程实习:CPT课程实习和OPT毕业实习.
CPT---课程实习
CPT must relate to your major and the experience must be part of your programof study.
课程实习CPT必须和你的专业相关，课程实习内容是你学习的一部分。
When you enroll at the graduate level, your designated school official (DSO)may authorize CPT during your first semester if your program requires this typeof experience. Ask your DSO for details.
如你是研究生层次学生, 如你的学习内容需要CPT, 在第一个学期你学校的DSO就可签发你的CPT许可，请向DSO咨询具体事宜。
Your DSO will provide you a new Form I-20, “Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant StudentStatus,” that shows that the DSO has approved you for thisemployment.
你的DSO会给你签发新的I-20表，“非移民学生资格证书”，意味着你的CPT已被学校DSO批准。
You can work on CPTeither full-time or part-time.
你可做全日制的或兼职的CPT工作。
CPT requires a signed cooperative agreement or a letter from your employer.
CPT需要来自你的雇主的工作协议或者合同。
If you have 12 months or more of full-time CPT, you are ineligible for OPT, butpart-time CPT is fine and will not stop you from doing OPT.
如你的CPT全日制工作时间达到12个月或更多，你将失去OPT资格，但兼职的CPT工作时间不受此约束，仍保有OPT资格。
